Frequently asked questions
Is this legal advice?
No. DutchLetter explains the letter and prepares a draft reply. The user checks the draft and signs and sends it. For court cases and immigration decisions the service refers to free professional help.
How reliable are the deadlines?
Each deadline is calculated from the date on the letter and the legal rule that applies to that type of letter. Nothing is estimated. The deadline should always be compared with the date printed on the letter.
Is a refund possible?
The report is produced and delivered immediately after payment and the customer agrees to this at checkout. The 14-day cooling-off period therefore does not apply. If a report contains an error, support will correct it or refund the payment.
Is the service available in Dutch?
Yes. The language can be switched to NL at the top of the page. Reply letters are always written in formal Dutch and come with an English translation.
