2. What the service does
DutchLetter explains Dutch official letters and prepares draft reply letters. The quick scan is free. The full report costs € 7,95 including 21% VAT per letter. The explanations and drafts are generated with artificial intelligence and are checked against a knowledge base of Dutch letter types and legal rules.
3. No legal advice
DutchLetter is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. The service provides general explanations and draft texts. The user remains responsible for checking the content and for every decision taken on the basis of the report. Deadlines must always be compared with the date printed on the original letter. For serious matters the user should seek professional help.
4. The agreement and delivery
The agreement for the full report is concluded when the payment is completed. The report is produced and delivered immediately after payment on the report page and by email. By ticking the checkbox at checkout the customer expressly requests immediate delivery. The customer thereby acknowledges that the 14-day right of withdrawal is lost once delivery starts (article 6:230p sub g of the Dutch Civil Code).
5. Payment
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. Prices are stated in euros and include VAT. An invoice is sent by email after payment.
6. Use of the service
The service may only be used for letters that the user is entitled to have explained. The user must not upload letters that belong to someone else without their permission. The service must not be used to produce misleading or unlawful documents.
7. Liability
DutchLetter makes every reasonable effort to provide correct explanations. Liability for damage resulting from the use of the service is limited to the amount paid for the report concerned. This limitation does not apply in case of intent or gross negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers have under mandatory law.
8. Data
How personal data is handled is set out in the privacy statement. The citizen service number (BSN) is removed before analysis and is never stored. Reports are deleted after 30 days.
9. Complaints and applicable law
Complaints can be sent to support@dutchletter.nl. See the refund and complaint policy. Dutch law applies. Disputes are brought before the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer law of the customer's country of residence.
